divine/ unclothe my mind [a poem]

I’m standing before you
Almost entirely naked –
Almost.

Waiting with this last shred…

I’m asking you to unclothe my soul
Let your fingers run delicately down my spine
Tracing the dignity of a thousand ancestral goddesses before me
That bore me;
See that my eyes are not like stars
But entire galaxies themselves
Dancing with the light of a million individual lives I’ll touch, touched, touching;
Melt into my skin
Swim lifted into the highest parts of the universe for
Her energies are me
Daughter of the earth
And you are the yang awaited to mine
Warming sun;
Destiny is in our hearts:
Together we are beginning, end –
Time eternal
This is what is meant to be natural
Love is not tried or controlled
But given of our spirits,
our calling card to return home,
So come drink it from my lips
Taste your deserved worship
As I reciprocate your light received
Leave the human behind
Unclothe my soul
This is your beginning, my dear man,
Your final destination
For I am your divine “she”
Carrier of the portal to the other side
Cradled between my hips
Take off this distraction
And reclaim your place within me.
